DEER-BUD® is a deer tag holder that screws down into the ear canal to meet the legal requirement of tagging your deer. No more using a knife to slice or cut the ear to apply your deer tag. Don't ruin the ear of your trophy, help your taxidermist, don't give them more work! Eliminate the danger of cutting your hands while you're in the woods and away from medical help. If you have to use a safety pin or zip tie we have made a section on the outside of the cap that is large enough to slip a zip tie into or a safety pin. Unscrew your DEER-BUD® tag holder into two sections. Roll up your harvest tag and place it in the auger end. Screw the cap over the auger end. Place the auger end into the ear canal, then with downward pressure, screw  into the ear canal for a secure hold. Use upward pressure and unscrew to remove your DEER-BUD® and use it again!
